A MIAMI BEACH COMMUNITY PROJECT
THE MIAMI BEACH ERUV
Are your Eruv dues already paid? Generally speaking your Eruv membership is now paid by the Synagogue or Minyan of which you are a member. If you are a member of one of the shuls in the LIST OF PAYING SYNAGOGUES/MINYANIM below, your membership is paid and you do not need to pay again on this site. If you are not a member of one of these PAYING shuls or a member of one of the LIST OF SYNAGOGUES/MINYANIM REFUSING TO PAY below, please take note that your Synagogue or Minyan has inexplicably decided NOT to pay its mandatory obligation to The Eruv and you are responsible to pay for your own membership using the payment link to the right of this page or by sending a check to Miami Beach Eruv, 4259 Nautilus Dr, Maimi Beach, FL 33140.

NON- PARTICIPATING LIST OF SYNAGOGUES/MINYANIM :
Although we have attempted in good faith to resolve this situation, the directors and officers of the unpaid institutions listed above have not responded favorably. Members of these non-paying congregations: pursuant to the p’sak of Rabbi Pinchas Weberman, Shlit”a, you are halachically responsible for your own payment. The fee is $99.00 per family, per year. Nonpayment of Eruv dues is tantamount to violating the laws of gezelah. Simply put, nonpayment of community Eruv dues is stealing pursuant to the laws of choshen mishpat. Additionally, members of non-paying shuls have been excluded specifically from the Eruv and you should immediately arrange your own payment from the right hand side of this page. You should not carry on Shabbat as you will not be considered to be within an Eruv and will consequently be violating the forbidden act of carrying unless you have paid for your own family.
